These terms govern your use of the MEDİGATES website and mobile app, a product of Academia Group Eğitim Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti. By using the platform or creating an account, you accept these terms.

1. Scope of the service

MEDİGATES is a coordination platform that connects international patients with partner healthcare facilities, doctors and accommodation services in Türkiye.

MEDİGATES does not provide healthcare services, make medical diagnoses or recommend treatments. Medical decisions and the treatment itself are solely the responsibility of the relevant healthcare facility and doctor.

2. Accounts and user obligations

You are responsible for keeping the information in your account accurate and up to date. Keep your sign-in details confidential and do not share them with others.

You may not use the platform for unlawful purposes or upload documents or information belonging to others without permission.

3. Prices and offers

Prices shown on the platform are estimates. The final price is stated in the offer presented to you after the healthcare facility's assessment.

You pay for your treatment directly to the healthcare facility; MEDİGATES does not collect payments from patients. Payment, cancellation and refund terms are set out in the facility's offer and are the responsibility of that facility.

4. Limitation of liability

MEDİGATES is not responsible for the outcome of medical services provided by healthcare facilities and doctors. Our liability arising from the coordination service is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Intellectual property

The design, text, logos and software on the platform belong to MEDİGATES or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.

6. Personal data

How we process your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes.
